Jongsuk Yoon - Hardcover

by Jongsuk Yoon (Artist)

Yoon's delicate, gestural "landscapes of the soul" are poetically charged encounters of imagination, memory and cultural affinity

Based between Germany and South Korea, painter Jongsuk Yoon (born 1965) oscillates between paradigms of East Asian traditions and Western modernism. Her large color-blocked landscapes, inspired by the mountain range dividing North Korea from South Korea, act as a space of residence unmoored from national topographies.
