Knock If You Dare - Paperback

by Aanya Koner (Author)

A summer dare was supposed to last only a few seconds.

All Mira had to do was cross the street, knock on the door of the silent sage-green house, and ask to walk the blue-eyed husky that was always watching from behind the glass.

But no one answers.

When Mira and her best friend, Tara, learn that the dog's owner vanished two years ago-without packing, saying goodbye, or taking his dog-their curiosity turns into an investigation. A time log reveals an impossible pattern. Blue lights flicker behind dark windows. Muddy footprints appear where no one should be walking. And the husky seems determined to lead them toward the truth.

The closer the girls get to solving the mystery, the clearer one thing becomes:

The house has been waiting for someone to knock.

Knock If You Dare is a suspenseful middle-grade mystery about friendship, courage, and the secrets that refuse to stay buried.
