Magi - Paperback

by Benjamin Kuzemka (Author)

"I've known Ben Kuzemka for several years now, but have never

gotten to examine his work as a writer as much as I'd like, until now.

What I enjoyed most about this latest collection Magi is its ability to

transport readers to wherever Kuzemka happens to find himself in a

world held together by memories, held together, to keep from fading

into the past. His poems are intricate, fascinating, and deeply

emotional, really what more could you ask for?"

- John Dorsey, Author of 100 Mornings

"Ben Kuzemka creates a world in Magi that is, by turns, humorous,

tender, and so quietly heartbreaking that I found myself pausing,

even looking away. These are unmistakably contemporary poems,

filled with references to Instagram and Costco, yet something

timeless is always at work beneath the surface. This book sings its

ancient hymns in mall parking lots and discount stores, revealing

grace in the ordinary. Kuzemka's quirky, beautiful world of Magi is a

marvel, a wonder-book, and a privilege to enter."

- Raphael Maurice, Author of Against Music
