Matthias: Wolves Kill Sheep - Paperback

by Shawn Hicks (Author)

In the murky underworld, Matthias Monroe was born to be an operative. Plucked from tragedy to be trained as an agent for a clandestine organization, he is now commissioned on his first project: to enact revenge for his birth mother.

However, between a military contractor diligent to know his every move, a bail bondsman who hires him as a bounty hunter, and a shadowy figure looking to eliminated him, Matthias finds the task filled with detours and toil.

Then there is his psyche, as Matthias deals with the abuse of his training. He sometimes slips into modes of agression, invoking him to enter into dangerous lairs, seedy bars, and secret safe houses. Not knowing it is all part of a larger trap.

In all, from psychotic government agents, to femme fatales, to him butting heads with his own organization, Matthias has to function where there's danger around corner. And if not careful, may meet his end. For wolves kill sheep.
