Mary Heady is the archivist at the University of Arkansas at Monticello and coeditor of the Drew County Historical Journal. Mark Spencer is the dean of the School of Arts and Humanities at the University of Arkansas at Monticello and the author of award-winning novels, short stories, and most recently a memoir.
