Rosary The (K)nots and Beads - Paperback

by Nikita Jain (Author)

From the subtle grief of the setting moon to the profound ache of bereavement, we navigate a world where even moments of joy carry the shadow of absences. What do we do with these fragments of loss that punctuate our lives? In this poignant collection of poetry written in both English and Hindi, the author explores the act of "Simran", the mindful remembrance of life's significant moments. Memories are transformed into beads, strung together on a thread of love, with knots of hard-won meaning. This book is a humble attempt to capture the landscape of mourning and melancholia, and to offer a space for healing in a society quite uncomfortable with grief.
