The Last Generation Jar - Paperback

by Jon Snider (Author)

Some memories are tooprecious to throw away. Othersrefuse to stay buried.

In The Last Generation: and Other Poems, Jon Snider looks closely at the people, places, and passing moments that have shaped his life. His poems travel the highways and back roads of Texas, through small towns, open fields, football stadiums, family kitchens, hunting grounds, and city streets.

With humor, plainspoken honesty, and the watchful eye of a lifelong observer, Snider writes about family, marriage, work, aging, faith, desire, regret, loss, and stubborn hope.

These poems may make you laugh, remember, question, or quietly grieve. Most of all, they invite you to slow down, look again, and recognize the beauty hiding inside an ordinary life.
