The Old Peabody Pew - Paperback

by Kate Douglas Wiggin (Author)

In a little New England church, preparations for Christmas Eve reveal more than holly and candles-they awaken memories. For Nancy Wentworth, decorating the "old Peabody pew" stirs thoughts of long-ago love and quiet devotion. When the church fills with candlelight that evening, the past and present meet in a way she never imagined.

Kate Douglas Wiggin's The Old Peabody Pew (1907) is a gentle and tender holiday tale of memory, faith, and second chances-an enduring story perfect for Christmas reading.
