There are many advantages to living in a city. For ten year old Jessica Jimenez however, the move has been filled with nothing but bad luck. What with her new friends excluding her, her old friends moving on without her and no one else in her class willing to befriend her no matter how hard she tries, Jessica just wants to go home-back to the quiet seaside village she grew up in. Will she ever settle in at Golden Valley Primary? Or is she doomed to be lonely forever?

A story about dealing with change and the discovery that sometimes you'll find your best friends in the most unexpected people.
